How to Use the Online Voice Recorder
Our free online voice recorder makes it incredibly simple to capture audio directly from your microphone. Because this tool runs entirely in your browser, your recordings remain 100% private and are never uploaded to any servers.
- Step 1: Allow Microphone Access. When you click the Start Recording button for the first time, your browser will prompt you to allow microphone permissions. Click "Allow" to let the tool capture your audio.
- Step 2: Record Your Audio. Once recording begins, a red indicator will pulse and a timer will track the duration of your recording. Speak clearly into your device's microphone.
- Step 3: Stop and Preview. When you are finished, click the Stop Recording button. An audio player will immediately appear on the screen, allowing you to preview exactly what you just recorded.
- Step 4: Download. Satisfied with the audio? Click the Download Audio button to save the audio file locally to your computer or mobile device.
