- Add Microphone Audio: To narrate your recording with voiceover commentary, check the Include Microphone Audio box before clicking start. Your browser will prompt you once for microphone permission and automatically sync your voice with the video stream.
- Pause & Resume Controls: Need to pause while setting up the next step of a tutorial? Click Pause at any time to temporarily freeze recording, then click Resume to continue seamlessly in the exact same video file.
- Instant Review & Download: When finished, click Stop Recording. Your video will automatically load into the preview player above so you can verify the footage before clicking Download Video to save the file (formatted in high-efficiency WEBM or MP4) directly to your hard drive.

What video file format is downloaded?
The tool exports recordings in the open, high-compression WEBM format (or MP4 on compatible Apple Safari browsers). This standard video format is universally supported by video players (like VLC), YouTube, Google Drive, and modern video editing software.
Is there a time limit or watermark on my recordings?

Why can I not hear system audio from my computer?
When your browser's screen-sharing popup appears, make sure to check the small box labeled Share tab audio or Share system audio inside the browser selection window if you wish to record internal computer sounds.
