Scientific Calculator
Type an expression or use the keypad. Supports trigonometry, logarithms, powers, roots, factorial, and memory. Press Enter or = to evaluate. See why readable decimals matter.
Expression calculator
Memory: M+ / M− add or subtract the current value; MR recalls memory into the expression.
How to use this scientific calculator
- Build an expression with the keypad or keyboard. Use parentheses to control order of operations.
- Choose DEG or RAD before evaluating trigonometry. Example in degrees: sin(30) gives 0.5.
- Press = or Enter to evaluate. Use Ans to reuse the last result in a follow-up expression.
- Memory keys let you accumulate a running total with M+ and M−, then insert it with MR.
Supported functions
Trigonometry (sin, cos, tan and inverses), natural and base-10 logarithms, square and cube roots, powers (x^y, x², e^x, 10^x), factorial, constants π and e, and basic arithmetic. Results are formatted with up to 14 decimal places; very large or small values may display in exponential form.
FAQ
How do I switch between degrees and radians?
Use the DEG or RAD radio buttons above the keypad. Trigonometry functions interpret angles in the selected unit.
What does Ans do?
Ans inserts the result of your last successful calculation into the expression field so you can chain calculations without retyping.
